Had a fantastic dinner at Carboni’s! The pizza and pasta were absolutely delicious — full of flavour and made with love. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients. The desserts were just as lovely — the perfect sweet ending to a great meal. A special shout-out to their spicy limoncello — such a fun and unique twist on a classic! It gave the night a little extra kick. Service was warm and welcoming too. Can’t wait to come back!

Excellent meal and wonderful dining experience! The atmosphere felt expensive but the meals were responsibly priced for the amazing quality of food you are getting. The food was flavourful, fresh and high quality. The staff were polite and friendly and service was prompt. Will absolutely come here again. Highly recommend.
Best linguine nelle alle marinara, resemble the taste of Italy not joking, generous portion with mains. Will find the photo I took and upload it later. With the amount of dishes, quality and portion, they are doing it at a very reasonable price. Will definitely go back again. Especially the dessert is just AMAZING and I really enjoyed it.
First time at this restaurant. Service was amazing. Our table was serviced by a young lady of Chinese ethnicity who was very attentive and friendly. We had the Taste of Italy banquet which was a great way to try a wide range of items on the menu. We enjoyed everything that was served. There was so much food which was very good value for money. Will definitely be back again the next time we are after good Italian food in Ballarat.
Excellent food and drinks- I'm no foodie but I had the linguine marinara, it was so delicious I could have had a second plate. Wonderful service- everyone was bright, accommodating, and prompt to serve us and bring drinks etc. The atmosphere is lovely, could have a big group dinner or just a table for two. Does get quite hot inside, we were dressed for winter and desperate to get outside by the end of our meals so we didn't melt 🥵
I wish I could give more stars! Service was 100/10 very accommodating with our two children offering colouring in and amending menu items to suit. We went twice on our trip and Sunday was by far our favourite as we had the pasta cheese wheel. Menu is full of all your Italian favourites cooked to perfection.
We came for lunch and we weren’t sure what to expect as we have recently moved to the area from Melbourne where we are spoilt for choice of Italian food. We were impressed with the quality and authenticity of the food and the lovely service from Serena. We will be back for sure!
We had a great dinner yesterday at Carbonis. Despite being extremely busy, the place was full, service was fast, friendly and our meals arrived promptly. The three of us were amazed at how good our meals and drinks were. The service and food has certainly maintained the high quality that we first experienced a few years ago. Highly recommended!
A lovely evening dining experience with warm, attentive and friendly customer service. You can see some age through the interiors of the restaurant, but the operator has kept the place well maintained and clean. The staff were friendly and greeted us immediately as we entered the premises where we were escorted to our pre booked table. We ordered the feed-me menu and each portion was very generous and we ended up taking away leftovers. The pasta and pizza was very nice, but the tomato sauce based prawn cocktails were mediocre. However, for the price you pay, you can’t expect them to give you top of the line seafood ingredients, so that’s not an issue. Overall, we had a wonderful night at the restaurant and would recommend any travellers coming to Ballarat to give this restaurant a try.
